It's an old Porsche, so, "What didn't break?" is the question.

Nothing yet but were doing control arms. Ball joints are real bad. If you're in the area stop by... 07008

Wanna do mine? If you think yours are bad, take the wagon over a pothole. I haven't even ordered the parts yet....I do think I managed to solve the rear end noise though. Makes a bit of a pulsing noise you would normally associate with a bad tire. Tomorrow when I rotate the tires, that should go away completely if I'm right.

I'm picking up 6qts of mobil 1 and a new oil filter in the morning, going to have the oil changed as well. I'm having a shop do the honors on the drain plug though, they can deal with it if something goes wrong so I don't have to in the parking lot at work. Bonus points, they'll charge me like $5-10 because I'm bringing all my own stuff. Guaranteed no mess oil change, just the way I like it.

I'm looking at Megan Racing and BC Racing coilover setups. They're actually pretty good budget systems. Not sure if they make anything for Porsche, but it's worth a look.

I'm leaning towards the Megan system because it's $100 cheaper than the BC system, and they're borderline identical. Lots of people putting them into LX chryslers with no problems. I'd expect the older Porsches have a pretty good selection of relatively affordable stuff, comparatively speaking.
